International Snow Sculpture Championships

"Breckenridge’s International Snow Sculpture Championships is a world renowned snow sculpting competition where 16 teams from around the world descend on Breckenridge, Colorado to hand-carve 20-ton blocks of snow into enormous, intricate works of art. Artists are only allowed to use hand tools, creativity and inspiration to bring their ideas to life. No power tools allowed! Teams sculpt countless hours across five days (totaling around 96 hours), resulting in a temporary outdoor art gallery in historic downtown Breckenridge!" - GoBreck

Ullr Fest

Once upon a time, the Norse winter god, Ullr (OOOL-er), was traveling around the Northern Hemisphere depositing snow, when he happened to find himself in the resort ski town of Breckenridge. Locals were pleased to receive Ullr’s gift of snow, and decided to celebrate each year to encourage even more snow on their scenic town and ski area.

Breck Film Fest

"Breck Film celebrates its 40th Anniversary Festival September 16-19, 2021 in Breckenridge, CO. Films will be screened in-person across three theater venues in Breck and we’ll celebrate across multiple party venues each night. A selection of films will also be made available online for those unable to make the trek to Breck this year from September 17-26. Filmmakers were notified on July 1 about their selection so stay tuned for our digital program in late August! Please note not all festival films may be available virtually, this decision is up to the filmmakers." -Btreck Film
