Carriage Rides



Enjoy a pleasurable ride through the historical streets of Breckenridge in your own personal vis-a-vis carriage, pulled by draft horses. Available are 30-minute tours ($75 per group up to 9 people per carriage), 20-minute tours ($50 per group), and 10-minute Town tours ($25 per group. Add $10 extra to pickup and drop off to most Breckenridge locations.

Casinos

Historic locales Blackhawk and Central City are only 90 minutes away! Aces & Eights Casino Shuttle is Breckenridge's favorite way to get to and from the 25 casinos in Blackhawk, CO.

Child Care

•Kid's Night Out - at Mountain Top Children's Museum. Drop off your children on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 6:00pm to 9:00pm for dinner and a fantastic time at the Museum. Ages 5-12, reservations required, prices vary. For more information: www.mtntopmuseum.org.

•Breckenridge Child Care - Located next to Beaver run Resort and the Beaver Run Superchair, open 8:00am - 4:00pm 7 days a week. Children 8 weeks - 3 years $120 per day, children 8 weeks - 5 years available at the Village and Peak 8 locations.

Cross Country Skiing/Snowshoeing

A wonderful backcountry experience you won't want to miss. The Breckenridge Nordic Center is only 5 minutes away at 1200 Ski Hill Rd. Call 970-453-6855 for more information. Blue and Green skier busses can provide transportation every 15 minutes.

Dog Sledding



You actually mush a team of beautiful Siberian Huskies through forest glades and mountain meadows, a wonderful Colorado mountain vacation experience! Transportation is provided, pick up times are an hour before activity time.

Exercise Room

Our exercise room for resort guests features cardiovascular equipment as well as a universal gym.

Fly Fishing

Whether a novice or veteran angler, a professional instructor will teach you how, show you where, take you there, and help you net the fish! Prices vary according to excursion.

Ice Skating

For skating and hockey, indoor and outdoor, call the Breckenridge Ice Arena at (970) 547-9974 for public skating ice times. Equipment rentals, lessons and kids' skating aids are available and the 'Blue Route' bus will provide transportation to the ice rink in addition to our hotel shuttle.

Jeep Rentals

Rent an off-road Jeep Wrangler while you're here through Mountain High Jeep Rentals. Located right here at Beaver Run Resort. Call (800) 955-0807 for information and reservations.

Museums and Historical Tours



The 1875 Edwin Carter Museum (970) 453-9022 will take you back to the days of the Gold Rush. Tours include the Breckenridge Historic District, Washington Gold Mine, or the Lomax Placer Gulch tour and slide show.

Nightlife



After a long day on the mountain there's nothing better than enjoying a night out on the town. Breckenridge offers plenty of great bars and clubs to satisfy everyone's likes. Bars not your thing?? There are plenty of great nighttime activities for those of you looking for a little downtime!

Breckenridge Recreation Center

The Breckenridge Recreation Center (970) 453-1734 has options for the whole family- tennis, racquetball, running track, swimming, rock climbing walls, aerobics, free weights, circuit weights, cardio equipment, etc. Daily passes are $10 for adults, $6 for youth (13-17), $5 for children (3-12), $6 for senior (60 and older) and 3 and under are free. If you've already experienced Spencer's great food, head into town to enjoy some of the award winning cuisine in Breckenridge. From pub food to fine dining everyone is sure to find his or her favorite place to eat!

Scenic Chair Lift Rides

For those who would like a non-skiing mountain experience, round-trip scenic chairlift ride tickets are available at Breckenridge Resort's outdoor ticket windows. Purchase a "foot pass" for $20 and ride up our Beaver Run Superchair to enjoy the views from the top of Peak 9. Also stop by the Peak 9 restaurant for some hot chocolate and food.

Shopping

There is great shopping throughout downtown Breckenridge! Choose from the many shops and boutiques in Breckenridge or the outlet stores in Silverthorne, only a 30 minute drive or ride on the Summit Stage, Summit County's free shuttle.

Summit County Skiing

Experience the white gold of Summit County's finest ski resorts, Breckenridge, Keystone and Arapahoe Basin. Free busses travel between the Summit County ski areas. At Keystone, continue skiing on your day's lift ticket until 9pm several nights per month.

Skier shuttles can be arranged by the concierge through Fresh Tracks Transportation to Vail and Beaver Creek.


Ski and Snowboard Equipment Rental

Enjoy the convenience of having your ski and/or snowboard rentals delivered right to your condo's door!! Offering a 24-hour service, brand new equipment and certified professional technicians. Sleigh Rides



Take a scenic or dinner sleigh ride back in time. Enjoy the scenery under the stars, through quiet, unspoiled forest trails. Beautiful Belgian Draft horses will pull you to a dining area where excellent food and entertainment combine to make an evening you will never forget.

Snowmobiling



Ready for an unforgettable Rocky Mountain adventure? Drive your own snowmobile over miles of Colorado's backcountry on groomed trails through trees and open meadows! Suits, boots, and helmets are provided. Transportation may also be provided. Two hour tours are most popular and go out just about every hour all day long. 3-hour tours are also available as well as "high adventure" tours.

Swimming

Beaver Run Guests can choose between two heated pools: indoor/outdoor or outdoor. Relax after a long day on the slopes in one of the resort's seven hot tubs while enjoying a cocktail from Beaver Run's pool bar.

Tubing and Sledding

Sledding is available in Breckenridge at Carter Park; directions are available at the Concierge office. Keystone and Frisco both offer tubing at their slopes, which can be reserved for 1-hour sessions (children must be 42" tall)




Theatre



The Backstage Theatre provides award winning live productions in a small theatre setting. Please check with the Concierge or daily newspaper for their varied performance schedules.

The Spa at Beaver Run



Come and relax at our newly renovated luxurious spa where trained professionals can help relieve the stresses and pains that result from a hard day on the slopes. The Spa at Beaver Run is conveniently located on the ground level of Building 1. Our outdoor patio offers two hot tubs, a Watsu therapy pool, and spectacular mountain views. The Spa offers a variety of massage, facials, waxing, manicures and pedicures. Try some of their unique treatments like Watsu, the use of a saltwater pool to allow the muscles to completely relax, the Organic Peruvian Chocolate Wrap, the Thai Body Wrap or Balinese Body Polish, and Oxygen Therapy. Transportation

Beaver Run Resort provides our guests with a complimentary, in-town shuttle that runs on call. Winter hours are 7am to 2am. Simply ask for the shuttle at the front desk then call the pickup number at (970) 453-6000 and the shuttle will pick you up. The 'FreeRide' bus system connects Beaver Run to most Breckenridge locations. The Summit County towns of Breckenridge, Frisco, Dillon, Keystone, Silverthorne, & Copper Mountain are linked by the Summit Stage's free bus network. Colorado Mountain Express is the best transportation service from Denver International Airport to Beaver Run. Luxury limousines and private shuttle services can also be booked through the concierge. Train Ride and Tour

Ride a luxury limo van, which departs from your front door in Summit County to Granby, CO. Then enjoy over 100 miles of breath-taking scenery as you wind your way through four of Colorado’s most spectacular canyons; Byers, Gore, Red and Glenwood. This three-hour rail journey is heralded as having the most inspiring scenery in the Continental U.S. railroad system. Once in Glenwood Springs, they also include trip (time permitting) to the Fairy Caves Adventure Park (declared to be one of the top ten caves in the country by USA Today) or the magnificent Glenwood Hot Springs, the world's largest thermally heated outdoor swimming pool. On your way back to Summit County, we also make a two-hour stopover in the world-class resort town of Vail, CO.
