Breck's celebration includes the vibrant Fourth of July Parade on historic Main St., July Arts Fesival, 10K trail run, bike race, live music, kid's activities and so much more. End the night with the National Repertory Orchestra performing a patriotic concert at the Riverwalk Center with an extraordinary firework display to follow.
Firecracker 10K Trail Run- July 4 (8:30am): Fire up your Independence Day morning with this scenic 10K trail race, starting and ending at Carter Park. This second annual event offers some of the most scenic views in Breckenridge and finishes in time to watch the Main St. parade and partake in other festivities.
Fourth of July Garden Party- July 4 (10:00am): Enjoy brunch on the Barney Ford House lawn, the quintessential spot to watch the Fourth of July parade.
July Art Festival- July 4 (10:00am-6:00pm): Main St. Station hosts the 25th annual July Art Festival of Breckenridge with FREE admition.
Fourth of July Parade- July 4 (11:00am): Painting the town red, white and blue, the infamous Breckenridge Fourth of July Parade starts on North Main St. and gallivants through town to the South end.
Firecracker 50 Bike Race- July 4 (11:00am): The Fifth Annual 50-mile AMBC MTB Epic has become a largely aniticpated feat surrounding this holiday. For those looking to witness a true challenge on the fourth, this cycling course begins on Main St. and climbs 12,000 vertical feet.
Kid's Activities- July 4 (all day): for all the little one's with big energy, Breckenridge hosts games and inflatablesin Blue River Palza. Kids can cool off after the parade with a good old-fashioned water fight with the red, white and blue Fire Department.
Nelson Rangell and Dotsero- July 4 (2:00pm): FREE concert at the Riverwalk Center. Contemporary Jazz double-header featuring internationally acclaimed saxophonist Rangell, followed by an allways energetic, spontaneous Dotsero. Arippin' jazz, crowd-pleasing show for all ages.
Jubilate! Sacred Singer FREE Patriotic Concert- July 4 (4:30pm): FREE concert at the Riverwalk Center. This concert will feature folk favorites like "Shenandoah" and patriotic clasics like "America The Beautiful" will appear alongside pieces by Irving Berlin, Woodie Guthrie, Randall Thompson and others. Enjoy an uplifting celebration of the musical art that helped create our great nation. Jubilate is a 50-voice acappella touring choir from Boulder, CO.
National Repertory Orchestra 4th of July Patriotic Concert- July 4 (8:30pm): Celebrate with the magical sounds of the NRO at the Riverwalk Center, FREE of charge and full of pride and patriotism.
Fireworks Display- July 4 (9:30pm): Enjoy a sparkling display of awe-inspiring fireworks immediately following the National Repertory Orchestra, WEATHER PERMITTING.
