Ski, Then Luxuriate in New Spa

The ski-in/ski-out Spa at Beaver Run has 20 trained aestheticians and massage therapists and features six treatment rooms for mud wraps, Bindi herbal body treatments and oxygen therapy, among other treatments. Within the 2,800 sq. ft. facility are two sixperson hot tubs with a view of the mountains, and a Vichy shower - a horizontal shower bed with multiple shower heads. The new Watsu therapy pool, at 9,800 feet, is believed to be the highest in North America.

Watsu is performed in the spa's state-of-the-art outdoor therapeutic saltwater pool. In this modern form of aquatic bodywork, water supports the body and allows the spine to be moved in ways impossible to replicate on land. It has become an important part of aquatic treatment programs in hospitals and clinics around the world to decrease overall pain and provide a deep sense of well-being.

Other services include facials, back purifications, micro buff body polish, body waxing, manicures and pedicures, hot stone treatments, and seaweed body wraps using five different varieties of algae harvested off the Brittany Coast.

The spa's menu of massages include one Swedish style massage for full body Wellness, a Sports massage, Deep Tissue manipulations, and even one for children, teens and expectant mothers.
