Mardi Gras In Breckenridge

Each year, New Orleans visitors and Mardi Gras lovers take over Breckenridge with masks, boas, beads, music and revelry to commemorate the carnival season.

Celebrate Mardi Gras Breckenridge-style at 9,600 feet! With a parade procession, bar series, live music, Cajun cuisine and beads galore, Breckenridge, Colorado’s Mardi Gras celebration is only secondary to that of New Orleans.

The Mardi Gras Ball, a New Orleans style masquerade ball, kicks off the festivities at Beaver Run Resort on March 1st at 6:00 P.M. The event features live music and dancing along with New Orleans food and drinks, beads and much more. Call 970-453-5055 to purchase your tickets. This is a 21 year old and over event.

Mardi Gras Ball - Saturday, March 1, 2014 (6:00 P.M. - 10:00 P.M.)
The evening will feature dancing, drinks, great Nawlins style cuisine and the crowning of the Rex and Queen. Entertainment performed by Brazilian Samba Dancers.

Where: Beaver Run Resort

Attire: Summit County Formal a.k.a. anything goes! Guests can wear a Mardi Gras costume, formal ball gown or a favorite mask and pair of blue jeans.

Cost: $60 individual or $120 for couples and $500 for a table, Cost includes a New Orleans style buffet dinner and a cash bar available. Beads, boas and masks for sale at the event.
